Join me for an exciting look at and exploration of Arashi Shibori Arashi means “storm” which characterizes the patterning on fabric. In Japan they refer to shibori as “squeeze”, hence “Storm Squeeze”. Fabric is wrapped diagonally onto a pole, compressed and dyed. There are many ways of making really interesting patterns on fabric with this technique. Learn traditional and non-traditional pole wrapping techniques. The workshop will span two days and you will have access to me via email or zoom at all times throughout the workshop.
